Super Mario 64 Main Theme (Bob-omb Battlefield) but it sounds like Sonic the Hedgehog

Dr. Robotnik has captured Amy and is keeping her hostage in his castle! Watch as our favorite Italian plumber, Sonic, learns how to fly, run through walls and even turn himself into metal in order to rescue her.

I decided to keep it simple for this one, the original Super Mario 64 Main Theme is incredibly catchy and groovy on its own and hearing it played by Sega Genesis sounds feels really weird, but it also kind of works! I'm pretty confident this track could have existed as a Sega Genesis track in some alternate timeline ^^
