In the quiet morning walk, I felt the deeper truth of our people — Assam’s indigenous voices, though fewer in number today, living with a quiet resilience. Friendships too were tested and strengthened in ways only a wedding journey can reveal.

And amidst it all, there were gentle surprises — a Tibetan Mastiff for the very first time, laughter with old friends, and realizations about the changing fabric of our society.
