Know the rivers that you fish.

This video shows how easy it is to get caught out in a rising river, thankfully I know all the rivers I fish like the back of my hand. With the trout season now in full swing here in Tasmania & with many rivers controlled for Hydro power & irrigation purposes it pays to know the rivers one fishes like the back of your hand. The sudden rise in river levels can put one at risk & there's no pre warning sirens on the rivers here to let you know that the water is being released. So just be aware whether you're in Tasmania fishing rivers or any where there's dams that release water that are used for Hydro & irrigation. Thanks for watching & stay safe in/on the water.
