ग्वालियर को मिला नया इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट स्टेडियम, जानिए इस नए मैदान की खासियत

मध्य प्रदेश के ग्वालियर में शनिवार को नए अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट मैदान का उद्घाटन किया गया। इसका उद्घाटन सीएम मोहन यादव ने केंद्रीय मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया, बीसीसीआई के सेक्रेटरी जय शाह और भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान कपिल देव के मौजूदगी में किया। इसके साथ ही आईपीएल की तर्ज में मध्य प्रदेश प्रीमियर लीग (MPL 2024) की शुरूआत भी की गई। जिसमें MP की पांच टीम हिस्सा लेगीं और सभी मैच इसी मैदान में खेले जाएंगे। आइए जानते हैं इस मैदान की कुछ खास बातें...

बता दें इस मैदान का नाम ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया के पिता माधवराव सिंधिया अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्टेडियम रखा गया है। वहीं, एमपीएल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन सिंधिया के बेटे और ग्वालियर डिवीजन क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन के उपाध्यक्ष महाआर्यमन राव सिंधिया करा रहे हैं।

ग्वालियर स्टेडियम कैसे पहुंचे?

यह स्टेडियम ग्वालियर शहर से लगभग 8 किलोमीटर दूर मुंबई-आगरा बाईपास पर स्थित है। ग्वालियर स्टेडियम को 2011 से बनाना शुरू किया गया था। अब सीएम मोहन यादव के हाथों इसका उद्घाटन किया गया। करीब 30 एकड़ में यह मैदान फैला है।

50 हजार लोगों के बैठने की जगह

ग्वालियर इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट मैदान में करीब 30 हजार लोगों को बैठाया जा सकता है। हालांकि इसकी क्षमता को 50 हजार तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है। मैदान में 9 पिच बनाई गई हैं। मैदान में ड्रेसिंग रूम, प्रशिक्षण केंद्र, सम्मेलन के लिए हाल और मीडिया केंद्र जैसी बेसिक व्यवस्थाएं की गई हैं।

गूगल में मिले रेव्यू के अनुसार ग्वालियर स्टेडियम के आस -पास का मैदान शांत है। आस-पास प्राकृतिक वातावरण है। स्टेडियम को रात के मैचों के लिए फ्लड लाइट, स्विमिंग पूल, सौना बाथ, आधुनिक जिम, ड्रेसिंग रूम और 30 कॉर्पोरेट बॉक्स से भी सुसज्जित किया गया है। स्टेडियम बन जाने से न सिर्फ खेल को बढ़ोत्तरी मिलेगी। इसके साथ ही लोगों को रोजगार भी मिलेगा। आस-पास पर्यटन भी बढ़ेंगा।
