🏀 BASKETBALL TERMS 🏀

Check:
The person from the other team you are defending against

Switch:
Switch your checks and places with one of your teammates

Layup:
One-handed shot made from near the basket

Air ball:
A shot that misses the backboard, rim and net entirely

(number) : (number):
The score; the number of points each team has, in this case...

The Girls’ Score : The Boys’ Score

Backboard:
An upright board behind the basket, off which the ball may rebound

Rim:
The metal hoop from which a basketball net is suspended

Hopefully this helped some of you understand some of the vocabulary I was using in this series :3
