The government is set to add bar codes or QR codes to 300 widely used, high-selling medicines. This move aims to prevent the use of counterfeit and substandard medicines with a “track and trace” mechanism launching soon.

Some famous brands included: Dolo, Allegra, Asthalin, Augmentin, Saridon, Limcee, Calpol, Corex, Thyronorm, Unwanted 72, and more.

By scanning the QR code, you’ll get details like product ID, drug name, brand name, manufacturer info, batch number, manufacturing and expiry dates, and the manufacturing license number. Stay informed and stay safe! 💊🔍
