If you’re a beginner at patchwork and quilting, you will quite quickly fall across the fact you need to use wadding - or batting - in your quilted projects. And you may be wondering what this is, and feel a bit overwhelmed by the different types there are.

When I started out quilting, it took me a while to realise that wadding and batting are the same thing, but it took me even longer to figure out what different types there are and where I would use them.

So I have recorded this video for you so you have a quick and simple explanation to help give you some confidence in buying your wadding.
