Balaur Arms Itailian Longsword | Feels and cuts like a lightsaber | Medieval Sword Review

Balaur Arms is a brand from Kult of Athena and is releasing sharp, battle-ready European AND Japanese style swords for a bargain. This is incredible as while the Japanese katana market has had enough time (and interest) to develop affordable, durable, and aesthetically pleasing swords for a low price, the European market has not. LK Chen and Kult of Athena seem to be addressing this space in the market with their Balaur Arms line of European swords. Based on our testing, their Italian Longsword is light, sharp, durable, and comes with a scabbard for under $400.00 (as of 4/22/24). Swords like these may be what get more practitioners into cutting and/or collecting.
