CAMBODIAN LEMONGRASS PASTE | KROEUNG | MOE MADE IT

This paste is used in many exotic Cambodian dishes! It's quite time consuming to prepare so we always make them in big batches and freeze for months at a time. I've come to appreciate the benefits of all these medicinal ingredients and the authenticity that it adds to Khmer cuisine. Hope you enjoy this short but sweet video, guest starring my cute Momma!

**Important Notes:

1. Forgot to add the garlic in the thumbnail photo but it's a must for this recipe! We left out the chili to add later because it varies with every dish.

2. The mortar and pestle we use is made of heavy duty granite/stone, it's not as efficient if you're using a wooden pestle.

Lemongrass Paste Ingredients:

6 stems lemongrass
20 garlic cloves
6 pieces tumeric
2 big bulbs galangal
15 to 20 pieces lime leaf
1 tsp salt  

Heavy duty mortar and pestle or food processor.
