The miter gauge upgrade I came up with a few years ago is still the perfect solution for me. I'm a miter gauge guy. I use it all the time. I needed to have another miter gauge so I didn't have to break down my setups.

In part one of this series, I unbox the inexpensive cast iron miter gauge from Grizzly and start the process of customizing it to match my other miter gauge. I did the same upgrade as before because there was nothing that could improve that first design. It works perfectly for my needs.

And this project didn't cost much either. I bought this Grizzly miter gauge in 2024 for $60, and I just checked and it's still the same price as of January 2025. A great deal for sure.
