Getting back together with your ex isn't as simple as learning a few ninja text messages.

The truth is that if you want to convince your ex to get back together, you need to really show them that they can trust you.

And this requires a bit of work on yourself in most cases (probably even yours).

First and foremost, you’re probably not going to like this, but you cannot get back together with your ex if you are in Damage Control Mode.

You are probably in Damage Control Mode if you recently went through a breakup, or if you are hanging on your ex’s every word.

After Damage Control Mode, is Attachment Stage. Here you are walking on eggshells and observing everything your ex does for clues and signs that your ex wants you back.

The thing though is that your ex is only going to want you back if interacting with you feels good. And this current way of being is not a strong way to convince your ex back.

After that is what we call the Crossroads. Here your challenge is to learn how to stand for what you want without being too soft (being a doormat) or being too hard (pretending to be something that you’re not).

If you can be vulnerable and express how you really feel, you open yourself up to a much clearer channel of communication between you and your ex.

Next, your challenge is to communicate how you feel and what you want in a clear and respectful way that both honors yourself and what your ex wants.

This is where the nitty gritty of the words you choose come into play.

And finally, when you can put all of these together in concert, that is when you enter into the fifth stage Effortless Connection.

This is the stage where you can easily convince your ex to give you another chance because you will be walking the walk and truly showing them that getting back together is a completely different game and dynamic from the relationship that they walked out of.
