Why Information is so important?

Information and knowledge are the most powerful tools we can have. A well-informed person is less likely to be fooled. For certain politicians, like the Portuguese Government, limiting access to information and providing distorted facts is a way to keep the population oblivious to the truth and compliant with their dictatorship. That is why we must keep putting the truth out there, so people know the facts and make their own conclusions. Headlines or photos don't do that job, there need to be articles, with real information. I will be doing that and so does O Lugar da Língua Portuguesa.
