Roncesvalles Village and Presenting Sponsor Vicinity announces Roncy Rocks! Music & Arts Festival on June 15 2013.

Roncy Rocks! is returning for its fourth successful season. The annual celebration of art, music and culture of Roncesvalles Village returns on Saturday June 15, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on the street, and well into the evening in venues all over Roncesvalles Avenue.

This free event features continuous music on four stages all over Roncesvalles, including performances by Oh Susanna, Big Rude Jake, and The Monkey Bunch to name a few.

The Revue Cinema will host a free screening of School of Rock featuring Jack Black and Adam Pascal at the Revue Cinema (400 Roncesvalles Avenue) from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Well acclaimed artist, Lisa Anita Wegner, who has worked with large productions such as Toronto's Nuit Blanche will reveal her media installation COMPASS to the public in our mysterious black tent.

A juried art show and sale will take place in various locations on the street, featuring the work of the many painters, photographers and sculptors who call Roncy and the General Toronto Area home.

Add to this: kids art activities, art installations, interactive workshops, our "Roncy's Got Talent" kids' talent show hosted by Steve Cranwell of YTV's The Next Star, and a day-long sidewalk sale showcasing Roncesvalles' merchants, and you've got the makings of a rockin' good day of art and music in Roncesvalles Village!
