In this video, I break down the complete history of self-driving cars, from DARPA's first autonomous vehicle in 1984 to the Grand Challenges, Google's Project Chauffeur, the billion-dollar gold rush, and the massive architecture shift from hand-coded rules to end-to-end neural networks that changed everything.

The core idea: we went from programming cars to parenting them. From writing 300,000 lines of C++ code to a single neural network that learns to drive by watching millions of hours of real human driving data. That's the shift: from rules to intuition.
