We almost overslept for sunrise at Bryce Canyon - our biological clocks still didn't work properly after the time zone change. But we made it safe and sound, so you can enjoy the that sunset with us 💪🏼

It was definitely worth getting up so early because the views looked spectacular with the long shadows of the early morning sun. We also had the opportunity to use Irix Edge square filters to get that characteristic cinematic movie shots.

On our way to Las Vegas, we also drove through Zion National Park and captured some pretty good shots right from our car. What made the image so smooth was the combination of the Sony A7R III and Irix lenses balanced on a gimbal - it's a game changer. Changing focal lengths didn't cause us a problem because the lenses weigh the same. You don't have the trouble of readjusting the balance on the gimbal, you just change the lens and boom.... you keep shooting.

It was at this point that we finally got to the Sin City - fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. The NAB Show was an inspiring event for #irixteam, where we had the opportunity to learn about the latest technology, meet passionate filmmakers and entertainment enthusiasts and see many innovative cinema solutions. One of the key points for us was to discuss with our dealers and users our products, how they work and perform, as well as discuss new products we are looking to develop. We have been inspired by the meetings and conversations, with everyone we met at the event.
