Lancaster FM159 - First Four Engine Night Startup

Описание к видео Lancaster FM159 - First Four Engine Night Startup

Lancaster FM159 is located at the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton, Alberta and is one of only four Lancaster Bombers in the world that have four running Merlin engines and are taxiable. This video is from the historic first public startup of all four engines which occurred at night in the summer of 2014. The engine run is preceded by a historic recorded audio track of a Lancaster flight headed from England to Europe for a 1942 raid.
