We discuss the federal reserve and what happens when they cut the fed funds rate. We discuss how similar the fed funds rate is to the 2 year treasury yield. We discuss the unemployment rate and how it affects a recession. We also talk about the Sahm rule and the Beveridge curve, and how accurate they are to predicting a recession. We also discuss the various factors affecting the economy as we speak.
