This reenactor explains the differences between a flintlock musket and a flintlock rifle that would have been used during the American Revolution. He discusses who would have used the rifle in scout or sniper roles and also goes over some of the tactics. The Revolutionary War was a pivotal point in American history and the rifle definitely was an advanced tool for the time.
