The second phase of Kerala’s local body elections takes place today across seven districts: Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod. Polling will run from 7 am to 6 pm at 604 local self-government institutions. The State Election Commission has deployed extensive security and monitoring, with 2,055 sensitive polling booths under special vigilance.
