Episode 13: Hell hath no Fury

Описание к видео Episode 13: Hell hath no Fury

Hello one and all!
Do we recall Episode 11, facing the Eddy and saying "I got rocked" well I'd like to take that claim and place it here
"I got rocked"
The counter hits, spacing, the combo chain, flawless. It really be Season 2. Getting the perfect on the Season 1 Finale, then Eddy dropping then this!
The first set wasn't too bad. I did a foolish Heat Smash around 1:54.
The second Series this young gentlemen gave the controller to his older brother
3:33 - 3:45 he had me locked down, The mix-ups, I was a deer in the head lights and he capitalized
4:35 the repeated kicks, I was in panic mood
Upon review it wasn't as much of a slaughter as I remember. However going through the rounds at the time was rough. This player had me pressing buttons, broke several grabs, managed spacing.
The better player won the series, in convincing fashion
After many hours and just catching details, I realized I don't have to use a Heat Engager in the middle of the air combo, or the Heat Smash. I think after a certain point of damage, the scaling of moves goes down and the opponent gets pushed away. I believe I was using "Heat" inefficiently. I think its a better tool of intimidation rather then "damage dealing"
Episode 11 against Eddy is a perfect reference. The Rage Art is to be respected, same can be said with the Heat Engager. You've got certain moves that are better, I believe in terms of damage and frames, you have the Heat Dash tool, and the Heat Smash. At my current experience, using it for intimidation, pressure, getting another turn, and chip damage; is a better alternative then getting a small extra confirmed damage. We march forward!
