Why We Love Moxi Skate Camp

Year after year, hundreds of roller skaters travel to Woodward Skate Camp to learn from our diverse array of expert coaches, leading classes in ramp-roller skating, dancing, yoga, outdoor skating, and social seminars to bring the community together. 

Moxi Skate Camp sells out every year, but Moxi has reserved limited spaces for the winners of an essay contest that is aimed to bring opportunities to skaters who otherwise might not be able to attend the event.

Moxi Roller Skates announces an essay contest to award 20 roller skaters with FREE tickets to attend Moxi Skate Camp this Spring. The contest will run for one month, starting February 9th and ending March 10th.

We will announce 20 Essays that moved us the most no later than March 17th. There will be 10 winners chosen for Camp West and 10 winners chosen for Camp East!

Using the following Google Form link, you can submit your essay in either text format, or a media file like video or audio. Audio/video answers should be no more than 5 minutes long and written essays should be 1000 words or fewer.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and must provide their own travel to camp. Tickets must be used for the 2023 Skate Camp, and cannot roll over to following years.
