Crysis has always been one of my favorite games. For it's great story, environment and visuals. So I decided to try and capture the beauty of the game in a video.

You could say this video also Symbolize the Death of the Soldier in this video. And his time on this island. And in the end, how he is pulled away. As his final moments come to an end. Or life in general. How we grow up, see beauty. Then things get hectic and eventually. We are all pulled away, and our lives end.

The Camera Shakes/Movement at 2:17 to 2:32 is intentional. It is suppose to resemble a Civilian/Camera Man filming the conflict/shootout.

I have not included any "Real" gameplay. But don't misunderstand me. Everything is filmed in-game. But as you might notice. There is no HUD (Heads-up Display) I am not holding a weapon. As well as Allies and Enemies are "Ignoring" me.

There is no interaction between me or the NPC's, no following missions and so on. Just filming the beauty of this game :)

I am more of a spectator in the world of Crysis and it's Island. A camera man of sorts. Filming its beautiful environments and occasional combat that you would stumble upon more often while playing the game.

In 2008, Crytek released Crysis. A game that would revolutionize Visuals in gaming. Taking it to the next step

Crysis is truly a beautiful game. Even with the just the Island alone, the visuals are stunning. A beautiful game and a beautiful environment with attention to detail for nearly everything in the game. Be it the water, shadows, vegetation, even in-game computer screens and newspapers. And it is still up to par with (even better than some) modern games.

Crysis set a new standard, and brought Visuals in gaming to a new era.

Today Crysis is still a heavy hitting game when it comes to performance, and running this game on Maximal Visual Settings and at a solid 60 FPS. Is something not all computers can handle. Crysis along with Metro 2033 is still the go-to games for Benchmarking (Testing how much your computer can handle).
