What is up, fellow tech-enthusiasts and dog-parents who constantly live on the edge! I'm Jessica Adams, AKA 'The Unlucky Techie,' and today, my mischievous Golden Retriever, Zeus, decided to teach me a brutal lesson about respecting his airspace. Seriously, this video is a certified aquatic drone strike. 😭
I was just trying to get some gorgeous, relaxing aerial shots of the pool (because, influencer life, right?), and Zeus was not having it. In this hysterical clip, I'm just floating there, completely relaxed, and then my world descends into chaos. Zeus—my sweet, clumsy boy—decided the buzzing little device was a personal enemy that needed to be eliminated immediately.
He performed the most spectacular mid-air jump-and-swat I have ever witnessed! He connected with the drone perfectly, but the trajectory of the falling tech terror was directly onto my head in the pool! I went from "relaxing mermaid" to "drowning victim in a sudden electronics storm" in 0.5 seconds. Zeus, of course, was paddling nearby, giving me a triumphant look that clearly said, "Mission accomplished. You're welcome." The dog is a menace, but he's my menace.
