Background to the song:

This song is a traditional isiXhosa call & response song known as "gwijo". The captain of our South African rugby team Siya Kolisi has been teaching this song to the other Springboks & they've been singing the song in the locker rooms to raise spirits before matches. The idea behind the song is that it's a fun ice-breaker & the song serves to break any preconception you might have of a person.

I did my best to remix the song in true South African style, and I hope you enjoy the music! I'd personally like to wish the Springboks all the best in the upcoming rugby season. We back you all the way! 🇿🇦 ❤️
