Ronald Weasley, o mejor conocido por todos como Ron, era el sexto hijo de los Weasley, miembro de la Casa Gryffindor y el mejor amigo de Harry Potter, y Hermione Granger, formando el Trío de Oro, que durante sus años de estudios en Hogwarts viviría muchas aventuras con la misión de derrotar al señor oscuro, Lord Voldemort.
