A visit back to see the Building of Bridge 85, Schoolhouse Bridge on the Montgomery canal.

The last major obstruction before reaching Wales on the Monty canal. Looking back to the construction and where the project is now it is nearly finished.

The Monty is a major project on the network with initial aims to get to Welshpool on the current complete sections after the success of rewatering to Crickheath basin.

On this site near to Shrewsbury and Oswestry we take a look at Beaver Bridges lifting the sections in place.
