After searching so hard the previous week, I caught the one 6k set on the 🟠Orange Line🟠 and I will admit that I should’ve caught this set on the first week of full service back on the line, but I kinda thought it would be merely impossible to catch it on the ⚪️Silver Line⚪️, but boy was I wrong. But it all worked out and the roundtrip went perfectly. This was the start of my last week of the program that I did for the first time which btw went beautifully. It was kind of bittersweet but I was deeply grateful for everything. I think very highly of this system and NYC’s system and I will be back in DC more frequently to hang with my new friends here. As we head into my last week of runs from DC, I want to reflect on all the routes. They are all great and I think maybe in the future I could see the ⚪️Silver Line⚪️ serving New Carrollton if they make a new line through Georgetown, but I don’t see that happening and all three of these lines serve downtown beautifully. I do have updates on my first MTA runs back home. For my first sets of roundtrips, I went on the (J) and the (L) both with the R160A so stay tuned. I will provide more thoughts in future uploads on my favorite combos in DC coming soon.
