Amazing KING POWER MAHANAKHON in BANGKOK

King Power Mahanakhon is an impressive high-tech architectural structure designed by German architect Ole Scheeren. The building was completed in 2016, reaching 314 meters (1031 feet). It remained the highest skyscraper in Bangkok until 2018 when one of the two towers of the Magnolias Waterfront Residences reached 318 meters (1043 ft.). However, it is the most emblematic modern building in Bangkok given its amazing architecture that creates the illusion of a crumbling pixel. It's definitely one of a kind that both defies architectural imagination and concepts of structural stability that engineers had to work on. The building has a geotechnic foundation. Some people may think 314 meters is not much, but considering the fact that Bangkok is built over a swamp one needs to rethink high is. Hence, its main structural components were based on a full study of a terrain that continues to sink every year. The government is aware of that and it is decisively taking measures to slow down the water drainage in order to deal with the problem of sinking soils.
