In this After Effects Tutorial, I'll show you how to animate an intro title animation, based on text and a square cursor and I talk about some conceptual thoughts behind the animations.

Although, text with cursor has been done a million times, it still can be animated in a unique way.
We start with the final reveal of the title. After having animated the text and the cursor, we add the
strobe effect to let the cursor blink.
As we have some stuff established, we squeeze out a structure and concept:
The two elements we use, is text and the square cursor. We stick to the directions, in which each of the elements move and we stick to the 6 frames rhythm, the blinking cursor established.

Then we'll add the beginning of the intro animation. As the cursor reveals the title, it should start the animation as well. After that, we'll animate the two middle parts and complete the intro title element.
