Sonic 2: Rescue Tails is a Re-imagined version of the Sega Master System & Game Gear title, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, created by Laiker Dreemurr, Sonic the Penguin and Sovic91, featured as an entry to this years (2024) Sonic Amateur Games Expo!

Story
Much similar to the same as the original game. Doctor Eggman captures Tails and Sonic has to save him. There are some notable changes, however.
The team tried to fit this game in the same timeline of events as the 16-bit Sonic games. Choosing the right place for it was a difficult decision, but they've chosen to place it right after the genesis version of Sonic 2.

Demo Features
The demo here provides 4 zones to explore, with each of its own unique mechanics:
• Underground Zone
• Sky High Zone
• Aqua Lake Zone
• Green Hills Zone
• Bonus: An optional prologue level - Emerald Hill Zone Revisited
