Is it faster to single reset or reset in batches for shinies? At what point can you save for the Soft Reset point to decrease the times?


In this video I break down the fossil reset process in Sinnoh (Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum) to maximize your efficiency while shiny hunting Cranidos, Shieldon, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith, Omanyte or Kabuto.


After defeating the Oreburgh City gym you can go through the Eterna Forest to reach Eterna City. Once there you will get an explorer kit which grants you access to Sinnoh's Underground. You can excavate fossils in the underground and go back up to the mainland to revive them at the Oreburgh Museum.



This is for the 4th member of my shiny badge quest. An SBQ is a quest through a Pokemon game where a shiny must be caught before each gym.
