TORONTO 4K Walking Tour Queen Street West


Queen Street West is a vibrant street in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario (Canada’s largest city). Queen Street is a major east-west throughfare and extends from Roncesvalles Avenue in the west to Victoria Park Avenue in th east. Queen West is a centre for Canadian broadcasting, music, fashion, performance, and the visual arts. Queen Street West is a large tourist attraction for Toronto. The 501 Queen streetcar route operated by the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) runs along Queen Street and is one of the TTC’s busiest routes. It runs every six minutes in each direction (traffic and construction permitting). Service is provided 24 hours a day, although overnight service between 1 am and 5 am is less frequent.

I walk along Queen Street West starting at Dufferin Street. During the walk, I pass the major cross streets of Ossington Avenue, Shaw Street (Trinity Bellwoods Park), Bathurst Street and finish just past Spadina Avenue.

Check out the Air Force Snowbirds fly over with coloured smoke near the end of the video! A great surprise and bonus to my walk on a beautiful Toronto summer day.
