Cov Kid's song 'Sky Blue' is a quirky pop lament that was first released to mark the 25th anniversary of Coventry's famous 1987 FA victory, and then this newer version to mark 30 years since 87 and 40 years since their promotion to the old first division. The song has been featured a few times on CWR (Coventry and Warwickshire radio) and Hillz FM. Now in 2023 with Coventry City making the play offs with a possible return to the Premier League the song celebrating the city and those 87 times is topical again. There are 39 references to all things Coventry back in the 1970s and 80s here. See if you can spot them. Most people over the age of 35 from Cov should get this!
