MT. HEALTHY, Ohio (WKRC) - Mt. Healthy Police think they know who's responsible for a Wednesday morning attack and robbery. The video doesn’t show the attack, but it does show a very clear image of the man and the woman walking out of a building around the same time that a disabled man was assaulted and robbed.

“It’s so wrong. That is so wrong. I mean really wrong to rob him of everything. He only gets [money] once a month, so why would you rob him? And he thinks he has friends, but he has no friends. None at all,” said Shirley Turner.

Turner says she takes care of her brother. To get around town, he walks or takes the bus. The morning of the incident, he was victimized at the corner of Clovernook and Compton. A Good Samaritan saw the victim struggling and called 911. The person who called lives in the apartment at that intersection.

Caller: I don’t know deaf language.

Dispatch: OK. OK. The man is deaf?

Caller: Yes.

Dispatch: OK.

Because the victim is disabled, the caller had a hard time communicating with the victim.

Dispatch: And it just happened outside the building?

(Inaudible sounds)

Caller: They've messed him up. Must have been over at the store across the street.

Mt. Healthy Detective Chris Jones says the suspects took the man's wallet and personal papers while roughing him up a bit.

“He’s not hospitalized and hopefully he’ll recover. There’s some mental trauma, probably, involved in this. And so, we're looking to close this case rather quickly with the assist of the public to try to identify these two people,” said Jones.
