Indian Nightjar is a crepuscular bird which is usually only seen at dusk and dawn but in this video I demonstrate how I got close to some Indian Nightjars to make this video. Indian Nightjar, Caprimulgus asiaticus, is a scarce bird in Central Thailand, where it is known as นกตบยุงเล็ก, but there are several places close to Bangkok where bird watchers can observe these crepuscular birds. Nightjars sleep during the daytime and rely on their cryptic plumage to camouflage them against the ground to avoid predators.
