Part 2 is out ! Watch it here:    • 6 Zentangle Organic Patterns and how ...

Hello Everyone!
This is a first of a list of many tutorials that I intend to make, so stay tuned!
It is a tutorial for Zentangle beginners who are experimenting with different organic patterns to find their art style as well as for Zentangle professionals who are simply looking for new patterns and new inspiration!
I explain how I make 9 of the patterns that I use quite often in my work. BUT ALSO, I show you a few different ideas of how to combine these basic organic patterns to create more complex and interesting illustrations.
I also try to provide brief tips about detailing and shadowing, but will definitely upload more videos about that as it is essential to bring your Zentangle patterns to life. (It would be helpful to let me know what you exactly want to see in the comments below!)
All the patterns I used here are organic and are inspired from botanical elements.

I hope this tutorial will be useful to you in your Zentangle art journey, and that these patterns will help you enrich your art.
I would love to see what you make with these patterns so please tag me in your creations on Instagram: @nus.tangles

I also create many digital art products that I upload on my Etsy shop, so make sure to check it to see what I have in store:

If there is something you would like to see in the shop and is not available, I would appreciate it if you could let me know in the comments.

Thanks for tuning in, and let's get creative!

Materials used:
As I said, you can use any pen. But here is what I used for reference:
- Steadler Pigment Liner 0.8 & 0.3 - This one is a favourite
- Pigma Micron 0.5 & 0.4 (For thicker lines/doodles) - This one is a classic
- Marvy Uchida 0.1 & 0.03 (For Tangle, doodles, and the finer details) - Experimenting with cheaper options
- Steadler Marker for shading: Color: Cool grey.
