Singer, songwriter, and bass player, MISSY RAINES was the first woman to win IBMA’s Bass Player of the Year award in 1998, and has gone on to win this honor eight times. Starting her career playing for bluegrass legend Eddie Adcock, Raines has gone on to play with The Brother Boys, Ed Snodderly, and Claire Lynch and The Front Porch String Band, until pursuing her solo career in 2009. Raines stepped into the spotlight as a songwriter with her latest album, the Grammy-nominated "Royal Traveller."
