I've Landed in LONDON, Now What?

"So you've landed in London, now what?"

Welcome to London, the capital city of England and the United Kingdom.

Home to about 9 million people, London is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, with over 300 languages spoken. And so naturally, London’s food scene is incredibly diverse, featuring cuisines from all over the world, reflecting its multicultural population.

Some fun facts:
• London has more green spaces than any other major city in the world, including 8 Royal Parks.
• The London Underground, commonly known as "the Tube", is the oldest underground railway network in the world, opened in 1863.

To give a brief overview of how London is split up, there are 5 directional regions, that is Central London, North London, East London, South London, and West London.

Another way London is split up is by boroughs. There are 32 boroughs plus an additional one called City of London (which isn't a borough). Each of these is governed by it's own local authority. Some of the well known boroughs are City of Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea. These two are also among the most affluent of areas in London, which has a mix of wealthy and deprived areas.
