Tulips have to be one of my favorite flowers! I have found that they really don’t last very long though and it’s only a day or two before then begin to droop which sometimes is unavoidable if the flower is older when you get it but a trick that has worked for me is as soon as I get fresh tulips I poke a hole with a pin at the top of the stem. I did a ton of research on different methods and the pinhole allows the water from the vase to reach the top of the flower easier which helps keep your tulips standing upright and not drooping.

There are also some claims that adding a penny to the water of the vase helps with keeping your flowers fresh longer. It’s better to use an older penny (ones from before 1982) since after that they started just using a copper coating. Hope these tips help!
