Why The New Tissot Heritage 1938 Salmon Is The New Value King: One Week Review

Tissot has been releasing incredible new watches over the past few years starting with the ever popular Tissot PRX and the subsequent chronograph and 35mm versions of the original. However, Tissot’s heritage stretches much past the PRX and they have recently released the new Heritage 1938 in three dial colors the best one being the Salmon dial.

Salmon dials have been very popular with the likes of Patek Philippe, and to pair a classic dial color with a case with classic proportions ,like the 1938, it’s a win. That said Tissot went further by making the watch a COSC certified chronometer guaranteeing accuracy of +6/-4 seconds per day. The kicker here is that all this is offered for the incredible price of $825. So is this the new value king?

In this video, I’m going to answer that question by getting into the details of the watch, how it wears on the wrist, that salmon dial, and that chronometer movement. And finally I’ll get into more details about why i bought this watch in the first place as a full on dive watch guy.
