In the past video, I addressed the power transformer issues by cleaning the housing using a Scotch-Brite 7448 (Ultra Fine Hand Pad), Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish followed by a few coats of Renaissance Wax Polish to serve as a rust inhibitor. The fasteners were then de-rusted using EVAPO-RUST. In addition, the wire lead dress issues were corrected using a combination of heat shrink/silicone tubing followed by testing of the unloaded power transformer.

In this segment, I take time to clean up the tuning condenser using my ultrasonic cleaner with a combination of citric acid/water and a few drops of dishwashing detergent before rinsing, drying, lubricating, and new lead wires followed by testing the capacitance of each section and ensuring no shorts between the stator and rotor.
