The College of Agriculture at Pantnagar is the only educational institute of the country to have a grand statue of Rishi Parashara. This video is an effort to generate awareness among the current young generation about the learned ancient scholars of India. Rishi Parashar had authored Krishi Parashara, the world's oldest treatise on agriculture.

This video is also created by the young students of College of Agriculture, Pantnagar with major lead by Mr. Abhijeet Sahoo of B.Sc. Agriculture programme, under the able guidance of Dr. S.K. Kashyap, Dean, College of Agriculture, Pantnagar.
