Gwersyllt Station 7/10/21

Gwersyllt Station is located on the Borderlands Line between Wrexham Central and Bidston via Shotton,

Services along the route are operated by Transport For Wales using at the time of filming Class 150 Diesel Multiple Units (on a hourly frequency in each direction) which were due to be replaced by Class 230 DMU's converted from old redundant D Stock District Line trains from London Underground,

At the time of writing this there was some question about the reliability of these new Class 230's; this being said a contingency plan to use new Class 197's on the route instead of the intended 230's has been drawn up which also included the proposal of a half hourly service in each direction, however the introduction of either new train and increased services is still pending at this time.
