Footage shows scrambler bike rider weave in traffic during police chase

Shocking footage shows the moment a scrambler bike rider dangerously weaves in and out of traffic before attempting to escape the pursuing police on foot. Cheshire Constabulary's motorcycle unit attempted to stop two bikers close to junction 12 of the M56 near Hapsford at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, July 17 this year.

Both the riders failed to stop and drove off onto the A56 towards Frodsham. Pursuing officers lost sight of one of the bikes, but they continued to follow a second bike ridden by 25-year-old Philip Hunter. Hunter led officers on a pursuit into the Weaverham area of Northwich.
