My name is Stephen Meyer, and I'm a Senior Partner with Enterprise ICG. We are a full service consulting firm, and we do implementations on ERP [enterprise resource planning] environments. We've implemented SAP, Intuitive, Microsoft AX and xTuple.

We found xTuple to be very powerful for a certain size customer. We really couldn't offer these type of ERP environments - these other ones that I mentioned - to this level of customer. They simply couldn't afford it. Not the complexity, nor the cost.

[xTuple] it's got deep functionality. I'm really pleasantly surprised. When we first looked at xTuple, we had sort of considered anything in this class of ERP system as a single site - you know - one step above PostBooks or QuickBooks. It's much deeper than that. It's highly configurable, very easy for clients to understand.

And if it's their first ERP system, it's a nice ease-in to the concept of ERP. It's very intuitive.

[xTuple] it's not as complex an implementation as these other ERP systems. So we have less hours applied to the implementation, which is good - I guess - for the client.
