With this recipe, there's no need to have a candy thermometer, No water, No need to pre-heat your popcorn in the oven, No need to worry about how long to boil your candy NOTHING!! This Easy candy recipe is what you have been looking for. We get asked a lot about our Candy Popcorn recipe and we decided to share it with you! Hard Candy Ingredients
1 Cup of sugar
1/2 cup of light corn syrup
1 stick of butter

Supplies needed

Instructions:
Pre heat your oven to 250 degrees.

Making you candy: Cook time (5 minutes ONLY)
On medium heat Melt your butter 1st, then add your corn syrup and sugar. Mix everything together then add your food color and flavor and mix well. By the time you have added your color and flavor your candy should have started to boil. You only want your candy to start the boil and that's it.

Popcorn prep:
Make sure whatever popcorn you are using that you remove ALL kernels from your popcorn FIRST!

Adding your candy:
Pour your candy on the popcorn in a larger pan or bowl and mix well. (Watch video to see how it's done) after you have covered your popcorn with the candy transfer your popcorn onto a NON STICK cook sheet and spread the evenly. (This prevent the longer cook time)

Popcorn cook time:
Your popcorn will cook for a total of 30 minutes on 250 degrees. The first 15 minutes remove your popcorn from the oven, flip them over to prevent any burning of the candy on your non stick cookie sheet. At this time try to cover the remaining popcorn with your candy. Return to the oven for the remaining 15 minutes. Once you remove your candy popcorn from the over (VERY IMPORTANT STEP TO LOOSEN ALL YOUR POPCORN TO PREVENT ANY CLUSTER OF POPCORN) Stir your popcorn while they are in the cooling process to prevent a HUGE cluster, this will also prevent your popcorn from getting smashed or crumbled. At this time you will notice that your popcorn has started to harden.
