This video contains two recent matches I had with the Sinanju Stein (ZA) on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 700 cost raid with insanely fast build stagger, high shooting DPS, speedy mobility, a get out of jail free card with heavy stagger active purge, a powerful heavy attack and a 50% HP psychoframe skill which lowers melee damage taken by 50% and buffs melee ability even further. It has the weakness of low ballistic defence on paper, but the parts layout allows you to completely nullify this weakness, meaning that it effectively has no weaknesses. This suit is one which I have downplayed the effectiveness of in the past due to my lack of experience with it, but now I have seen just how overpowered it is through further play. I consider it the most unhealthy for the cost 700 MS right next to the Phenex. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary ranged weapon is a beam rifle with 1500 (4500) power, 8 ammo, 0.5 seconds cooldown, 11 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 450m (500m) range, 4 seconds focus time and 50% stagger value. Uncharged shots have outstanding DPS and stagger potential while charging it fires a high damage piercing shot at the cost of 3 ammo. Uncharged shots can stop just about any incoming suit or be used to burst down supports from a distance.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 3100 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100/80/64% combo modifier, 215%x2 heavy attack modifier and 3 seconds heavy attack focus time. Normal swings are fairly powerful on their own and useful for getting suits out of the way. The heavy attack is really where it gets insane though with a fast and long reaching animation, ridiculous power and low recovery for going on hit and run assaults. At low HP this charge time is cut in half to 1.5 seconds, further increasing potency.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 185 power, 30 ammo, 360 RPM, 5 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 180m range, 1110 DPS and 7% stagger value. Stagger value is just ok for a 700 cost raid, but the DPS and damage per clip is quite high.
Its second sub weapon is a bazooka with 2900 power, 4 ammo, 6.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 1.75 seconds swap, 400m range and 80% stagger value. This is high performance as far as bazookas go with high power, stagger value and solid cooldown. You can combo this into your beam rifle to restrain enemies before dumping DPS, it also serves as an effective tool in close quarters before melee.
The Stein has 23000 HP, 18 ballistic defence and 30 in both beam and melee resist. This is pretty solid other than the low ballistic resist, though you can easily become bulky in every area with the proper custom parts. It has LV4 Maneuver Armor always and gains LV3 Emergency Evasion after it uses Active Purge. Active Purge can be used once per life and is activated via the touchpad, firing two 3000 damage heavy staggering projectiles and causing the suit to do a backflip animation with a lot of iframes. This can be used offensively to heavy stagger enemies, defensively to get out of any tricky situation or as a mixture of both. You can use it at the same time you could use a dodge roll, but also while boosting or while in midair. After using it you lose 5 boosting speed and use 10% more thrust, but you also gain 5 walking speed and 6 turning speed to make up for it.
It also has 135 walking speed, 230 boosting speed, 85 thrust and 78 turning speed. This is pretty high on its own but even higher once considering LV3 Forced Injector, LV3 Flight Control and LV1 Flexible Thruster. Flexible Thruster grants +10 boost speed and -50% thrust consumption if you activate Forced Injector or Flight Control Program.
Its final skill worth mentioning is Psychoframe Resonance (ZA). This activates at 50% HP and grants +40 melee modifier, -50% melee damage taken and -50% heavy attack focus time. This makes you really hard to take down with melee attacks while also making it even easier to spam heavy attacks.
Overall I feel like the Stein is just way too much for 700 cost, just see how well these matches went despite me not fighting teams with supports. It is a monster no matter what distance you fight it at and it is super risky to approach while it still has the fuel tanks in reserve. Spamming heavy attacks like Re-GZ can arguably makes it even more potent than Banshee in CQC. I think that the Stein deserves nerfs across the board like 4 second heavy focus time, 185%x2 heavy attack modifier, -30% melee damage reduction at half HP rather than -50%, 1300 damage on uncharged shots, 3900 damage on charged shots, 45% uncharged shots stagger value like Zero Shiki, ballistic defence reduced to 10 and for Active Purge to grant less iframes. This is a large list but I think it is required for the health of 700 cost. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed it!
