Railroader-7 and 4's Long Day

North West County and State Line Branch Railway's decapod number 7 was given a big test today, hauling additional cars to Robinson Gap, plus a set of cars for work on the Alarka Extension, for a total of 49. After dropping most of them at Bryson, it crossed the bridge for Alarka Junction. With number 1 assisting with passenger duties, number 4 was pulled out of the shed to work the Whittier Local. That night, number 7 returned to Bryson, struggling to leave with 46 loaded cars. It stalled just outside of town, resulting in number 4 being sent to help. It was cutoff at Ela, while number 7 trudged on to Whittier well behind schedule.
