Heading outdoors with a video camera has become my new favorite way of capturing images to be used as reference photos for paintings. Currently I am painting daily in a journal. My paint of choice is gouache. In this video I take a walk with my good friend, Robin, and we chat while exploring the possibilities for landscape paintings based on the scenery around us. We were in a community near Ocala, Florida, called On Top Of The World and we were walking through a garden walkway near a section called Creative Commons. Kind of appropriate, don't you think?
