Z1's Nissan Frontier Supercharger Kit was developed with collaboration between our Motorsports and Offroad engineering teams. As we searched for new ways to make power on Nissan's new 3.8L V6 it became clear that in order to reach the goals we set it would be necessary to look for external solutions. When our Off-Road and Motorsports teams came together, the idea for the bolt-on supercharger was born.

In addition to more power, it was important that our supercharger kit offered OEM-like fitment and could be installed by the average enthusiast without the need for specialty or custom tools. Extensive analysis of the engine design allowed us to produce a solution that fits in the ideal position and eliminate the need for complex pulleys and tensioners. This made it easy for us to take steps towards completing the very first model and with the help of our 5-axis CNC, we were able to turn an idea into a fully functioning prototype in a very short time.
